She could remember the very first story that her mother told of the creatures that lurked in the shadows. Mira became fascinated, almost intrigued and when she learned that supernatural beings existed in the world, it sparked something inside her. As she got older and the years progressed her outlook on these unearthly beings faded.
Being the youngest meant having more expectations. When all the young nomad wanted to do was explore every nook and cranny of the world, it was frowned upon. Having your whole life mapped out for you without a say. Mira rebelled against her parent's requests. When coming to the age of eighteen, the young photographer moved out after getting accepted into a University. Falling even more in love with being behind the lens of a camera and capturing the beauty of the world.
Mira didn't hesitate to pack a bag and leave everything behind once graduating. It was her dream to travel, and she wouldn't stop until satisfied. Though, her love for photography would be overcome by the love of her unborn child. When finding out to be pregnant, it did not discourage the restless spirit inside her.
Continuing with her voyage with a new mindset, and a being growing inside her. Mira settled down near the mountains in France, that was where her son, Dexter would be born. They continued to live there until the young boy reached a year old, before setting out on a new journey. Mira earned a job working for National Geographic, which brought her to mysterious places which only sparked the interest of the supernatural as when she was young. Her travels stopped when Dexter was old enough to attend school, and they moved back to France to continue their life. The young boy was brilliant, picking up both English and French as a first language. They stayed in the small mountain town until Dexter reached the age of five before deciding to move elsewhere. It was Dex, her son who picked their next destination to live. Choosing Lousiana surprised her, but the girl couldn't object.
That was where she met Jack; the werewolf quickly accepted them into his life. The bond they shared was indescribable, and you could even say that they were soulmates. When it was questioned about moving there was no hesitation about separating, Jack was important to them both.
Hadler Ranch was more than a home, and for once Mira found herself not itching to leave. Time passed quickly, and after a year, the mother was delighted. There was still one thing missing, but Mira wouldn't let that blindside her.
